In May of 1993, Richard Decatur, Jr. and his father, Richard Decatur, Sr. purchased what is now known as Decatur's Automotive, Inc. When they opened the doors for business, Decatur's consisted of a three bay repair facility with one technician and a two bay collision center with two technicians. In just over 14 years, Decatur's Automotive has grown into a six bay repair facility with four automotive technicians and three collision center technicians. Automotive Mechanical Repair Facility Our automotive technicians are ASE certified which keeps them on top of ever changing and challenging repairs of the automotive industry. We have all the diagnostic and repair equipment enabling us to diagnose and repair ALL makes and models of vehicles including motor homes. Decatur's specializes in complete automotive diagnostics including major electrical repairs. We perform all types of preventive maintenance services which keep your vehicle running and performing like new. We will also keep your vehicle up to standard for warranty, examples are; transmission flushes, coolant flushes, power steering flushes, brake fluid flushes. We also service air conditions systems. Automotive Collision Center Our Collision Center is insurance approved with top of the line equipment to handle all auto body and collision repairs. Our paint is mixed on site to ensure proper color match every time.
